In Ramp. Hydraulic squeeze chutes often stand several inches above ground level. Cattle must step up into the squeeze chute (crush), and step down when exiting (see next photo). Cattle do not judge depth well and balk at changes in floor types and steps. Easing the transition using a matching concrete ramp is ideal.
